Bitter Orange oil is made from the plant of bitter orange. It is similar in scent to bergamot which is formed from the blossoms of bitter orange tree. It is also known as petitgrain. Oil extracted from tree's leaves is called bitter orange oil, and oil extracted from flowers is called neroli oil. Bitter orange oil is mostly used for medicinal purpose such as insomnia, obesity, headaches, and gastrointestinal disorders. Neroli has distinctive and refreshing characteristics.
